Update on the Iraqi Dinar(Still Hearing Soon,Question How Soon????)
I've finally got some positive news regarding our Iraqi Dinar Investment.
Maliki(PM) is promising to announce The 3 outstanding Ministry positions next week (AGAIN)
Allawi (opposition Leader) and Maliki are suppose to be setting up a meeting to discuss the 3 positions of Defense,Interior,And National Security Ministry.Once this is done the Government will be complete and according to Shabbibi Governor of the CBI(central bank of Iraq) he will pull the trigger for the RV.Right now all 3 of these ministries are under Maliki Direction.Maliki is a control Freak so I'm wondering if he will keep stalling on this or officially announce the ministers.(time will tell)
Maliki was given 6 months by the religious leader Sadr to get food ,water,power,and jobs created for the Iraqi People.Maliki then gave the government leaders(provinces)100 days to shape up or be shipped out.So the pressure is on to get this done.In order to do this they have to develop the private sector and foreign investment to get the country up and running.The price of a barrel of oil is about $98.00 /a barrel.Their 2011 budget had been calculated at $76.00/barrel.So they have a lot of excess money to play with here.
To achieve all this they have to have a tradeable currency(RV).You can't run a country with worthless toilette paper
Other good news is Parliament resumes next week,The Arab Summit is coming up on March 29th/2011.The Pressure is on to get this done.Unknown is the RATE And DATE.Estimated rate between .60 to $1.00 US

Baghdad, February 25 (Rn) – The Iraqi Ministry of Trade and the United States to support Iraq to join the World Trade Organization WTO.
The general director of economic relations Hashem, Hatem told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) on Friday that “the Iraqi Ministry of Trade has asked the U.S. embassy in Baghdad need to support the United States to Iraq on accession to the WTO during the next few days in order to develop the economic sector in the country.”
The Ministry of Commerce announced in Iraq January 29 last, that the WTO is “convinced” package of legislation approved by the Iraqi Council of Representatives to support the trade policy in the country.
Hatem added that “Iraq’s accession to the WTO means lifting the lid of the isolation system for Iraq’s commercial world, which lived for many years.”
He continued that “the U.S. embassy in Baghdad confirmed it would support Iraq significantly to join the World Trade Organization and support of the Iraqi economy to provide investment climates revive the economic reality in Iraq.”
Iraq seeks to obtain permanent membership in the WTO rather than an observer member, as is the case at this time.
The WTO was founded in 1995 and comprises 147 countries world as permanent members.
The organization aims to create economic world, preserves the rights of consumer and producer through an international system of laws through the full employment of state resources and prevent the sale of goods with non-universal impulse.
This is unconfirmed at this time.This another BIG STEP in our investment if confirmed.They have to have a tradable currency to be in WTO.

UPDATE 1-Iraqi lawmakers pass 2011 budget of $82.6 bln

BAGHDAD, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Iraq's parliament gave final
approval on Sunday to an $82.6 billion budget for 2011 based on
an average oil price of $76.50 per barrel and 2.2 million
barrels per day in crude exports.
The deficit was projected at $13.4 billion. About 95 percent
of Iraq's government budget comes from oil revenue.
The budget allocated $25.7 billion for investments and $2.05
billion to pay oil firms' investment costs.
Passage of the budget was held up for months by political
haggling.
Budget shortfalls challenge Iraq's ability to rebuild after
years of conflict following the U.S.-led invasion in 2003. But
officials have said the deficit could be wiped out if world oil
prices stay high.
Violence has subsided in the last three years and the
government has announced major projects to refurbish oilfields
and infrastructure and to construct housing.
The OPEC producer has signed deals with global oil firms
that could boost its output capacity to 8-12 million bpd,
rivalling top producer Saudi Arabia, in about six time. Current
production is 2.7 million bpd.
