1. Shabibi appears to be on his way out. I didn't believe it at first, but all signs are
pointing that way... we will stand by and see what happens. Maybe they will replace
him with someone who's more "trigger-happy" and willing to get this thing done quicker!
2. Maliki appears to be signing up for a third term after some talk of not continuing
in his current position. A lot of people talk bad about him, but I think this is a good thing.
He is the most familiar with the situation and is the best person for the job in my opinion.
Contrary to what some of the gurus are shouting, nobody is cashing in yet. Stay grounded,
friends - we all believe the value of the Dinar will go up, the only questions are "How much",
"How soon", and "How about now!!!!".

Anything New Regarding The Iraqi Dinar for Canadians

April 15th meeting with Kuwait regarding chapter 7,If everything goes well could trigger RV
National meeting is being scheduled for next week and the Amnesty Law was sent to the House for a vote. The last meeting on the 5th was a bust because the Iraqi List boycotted all meetings until the terms of the Erbil agreement are implemented and they see the adoption of the Amnesty Law. Political blocs are tired of the procrastination of the Erbil power sharing agreement and the UN also addressed the need for this to be resolved for Iraq to move forward and become an economic leader not only regionally but globally. Tarriff laws go into effect starting June 1st,sort of useless without a RVed currency
UN has a new meeting scheduled for middle of June regarding chapter 7 removal for Iraq.This could be moved up if everything goes well on April 15th/2012.
So next week looks hot but we still have to wait and see if Iraq screws things up again.The Kurds want the oil and gas law done and have threatened to pull out if not done soon.
So this is were we stand could be good could be same old.Time will tell
Please don't depend on this for future income .I realize a lot of us are in a difficult situation but there is a possibility this might never happen or could take a long time yet.We hope not though

Iraqi Dinar For Canadians,Will it happen before The Arab Summit Mar 29th,2012
Good Morning everyone,I thought i would drop in and give an update on the Iraqi Dinar for Canadians.
The Iraqi PM Maliki had successful talks with Kuwait this week concerning outstanding issues having to do with being released from chapter 7.
The Arab Summit is still on for Mar 28,29/2012,Good News.Its a wait and see if it RVs before this big event.
The Iraqi parliament had their recess cancelled,meaning they have too much work to get done.More good news.
They have a committe set up to educate the people about whats happening regarding their currency.
I also talked to my Scotia Bank contct and Scotia will be dealing with The Iraqi Dinar once it revalues and becomes a world tradeable currency.Confirmed
We will have to wait until it actually happens before I have more info on spread and timing of cash in.I would think around 24 to 48 hrs.I have a large group that is interested in cashing out with me with Scotia so our spread should be pretty good.

Iraqi Budget for 2012 is passed,not sure if implemented yet
PM Maliki going to Kiwait on March 14th to settle differences and hopefully get out of chapter 7
Arab Summit coming up March 27th,not cancelled yet which is a good sign.Everyone is thinking Iraq wants a world tradeable currency going into the Summit.
The steady stream of articles coming out of Iraq and CBI about deleting the 3 zeros

News about Gold Find In Iraq

The recent discovery in Baghdad of what may be one of the world’s largest gold deposits could make Iraq a bigger producer of precious metal than oil, and help it pay its outstanding debt to Western countries stemming from the two Gulf Wars.
What’s more, the gold vein found in an eastern Baghdad neighborhood is expected to increase the area’s real estate prices with the influx of hundreds, if not thousands, of gold seekers, according to a report by currencynewshound.com.
As Iraq — with one of the world’s largest untapped oil deposits—continues to increase its oil production output for export, the discovery of large quantities of gold changes the economic landscape for the Middle Eastern country, noted James Méndez, president of Méndez Internet Management Services, an authorized money service business and Iraqi currency broker based in Puerto Rico.
“This means that in addition to large quantities of oil, Iraq will have one of the world’s largest gold deposits, which ensures the country will have plenty of money to pay its debts and to cover the cost of the upcoming revaluation of its currency, which should happen soon,” Méndez told CARRIBEAN BUISNESS online.
Mining operations continue in the upscale Aldajh area after the discovery of the existence of large quantities of gold in the soil, currencynewshound.com reported Wednesday.
For more than two years, exploration and drilling have been going on under the streets in the region, extending from Fudhaliyah to Obeidi, where low-lying water channels are used for the diversion of rainwater during flood seasons.
The drilling operations extend for several meters deep into the earth, except for longitudinal drilling spanning more than ten kilometers (6.2 miles), the online report said.
So far the mining has raised thousands of tons of earth, which has been set aside in order to extract the gold particles, the report said.

Hi I just wanted to give you brief update on our investment the Iraqi dinar for Canadians.
It looks like there will be a vote on the 2012 budget this monday.Still lots of chatter on oil and gas law being passed by end of February.Everyone seems to getting along and working together to move Iraq forward.We have the Arab Summit coming up in the city of Baghdad end of March this year.We have the kuiwait election over ,Maliki should be making a trip there regarding chapter 7 sanctions being lifted.Also the kuiwaits have reopened their embassy in Baghdad after a 7 month absence.
So we have lots of positive news coming out of Iraq concerning our investment of the Iraq Dinar for Canadians.

Update on the Iraqi Dinar for Canadians,No RV Yet
Good Morning,
This week we had some of the Dinar Gurus announce an Iraqi Dinar Rv.It did not happen,I repeat it did not happen.I will post on my Blog here when it does happen.Just remember this is not a for sure investment,there is a possibility this will not happen.In my opinion there are only 2 guarantees in life,death and taxes.
If you scroll down to the bottom of those websites it says for entertainment purposes only.So that tells you most of the Gurus on there are just that Entertainment
It does look like the three groups in the Iraqi Gov are talking again,heres hoping they can keep it going.
Iraq is not completely out of chapter 7 yet but talks with Kuwait are promising.
We looking for the HCL law to be passed which has to do with The Distribution of the Gas and Oil Revenues,looks promising too.
The 2012 budget not passed yet but promised in next few days
They are still looking for a interior and defense minister for gov completion.
So lets hope they keep their act together and GETR Done.
